Chapter VIII-Team Georgia

Chapter VIII is based in Florida but we welcome members
from all other states. We are proud to have riders and support
personnel from Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and
Georgia (just to name a few).

Chapter VIII's inaugural ride was in 2004 when 12 riders and
multiple support personnel joined with Virginia's Chapter IV.
In 2005 our membership grew to over 55 riders and support
personnel. In 2006 we set off to Virginia with 52 riders and 15
support personnel. In 2007 we joined with Chapter VII and
had over 130 riders with our support caravan that embarked
on the "Tidewater Trail."

In 2007 we continued our partnership with Chapter IV, riding
over 230 miles from Portsmouth, Virginia to the National Law
Enforcement Officer's Memorial in Washington, D.C. to deliver
our raised funds.

2007 was just another awesome year for Chapter VIII and the
Police Unity Tour. Our total donation to the National Law
Enforcement Officer's Memorial for 2007 was $1,115,000.00!
Chapter VIII & VII spearheaded a new route and broke off from
Chapter IV for two days of some of the most beautiful and
memorable moments of the ride. We then rejoined Chapter IV
and made our way to the Pentagon where we joined with
Chapter I and rode to the memorial over 1000 strong!

We are all proud to be part of the Police Unity Tour and we are
humbled by the opportunity to "Ride For Those Who Died!"
